These are the five things that the student forum thought we should do to take action and make Thomas Tallis a community that supported Fairer Trade. These are going to be discussed by the whole school council and the wider staff body as well to see how we can take this forward.
These are the 5 principles that the students agreed in the World Trade Forum on 25th March 2010:
1. We should raise awareness and open minds to Fair Trade.
2. Fair Trade is an important way to improve quality of life.
3. Fair Trade is an important way to provide better working standards for producers.
4. Fair Trade is an important way to get a fairer deal for poorer countries.
5. We should use more Fair Trade ingredients and products at Thomas Tallis School.
